Sam has been with buyabicycle.co.uk for twelve months and has a wealth of knowledge regarding bicycles. The Raleigh bicycle was bought in for testing and was sent quickly by our distributor. The mountain bike is robust and strong and can comfortably handle general off road conditions. Eighteen speed shimano gears are about as reliable as you will get at this price point. Simple V breaks makes a nice change from the cheap and nasty discs you get on some budget bikes. The problem with cheap disc breaks is they can warp and brush the calipers. A pretty nice mountain bike which overall is a fine choice of bicycle, the Raleigh Spirit comes highly recommended by buy a bicycle.
